An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is designed to monitor attempts to compromise your computer system infrastructure. It complements the network firewall to include security auditing, monitoring, and attack recognition.
Our Intrusion Detection System
Our customized IDS watches your Internet connection for attempted break-ins. In case of a severe incident, the IDS logs can serve as an audit trail for use in prosecution.
- We provide 24-hour secure access to your IDS records on our website. Once a week, you will receive an email summary of the week’s incidents as interpreted by our engineers.
- To ensure detection of attempts by hackers to exploit the latest system vulnerabilities, we continually update the vulnerability signatures on our IDS.
- We provide the use of the IDS computer and software for the term of the agreement.
- At the end of each year, we will provide you with a permanent record of all incidents on CD-ROM.
